1. “The Miracle”.

“You will face your greatest opposition when you are closest to your biggest miracle.” — Shannon L. Alder . „The Miracle”, ©Dawid Planeta, 2017 Many times the door to a place we desire looks like exactly the opposite of how we imagined it. The best solutions come to us in disguise , dressed up as something else, usually something we don’t find attractive or appealing. The bigger and more alive your desire is, the more hidden clues you will get on the way. The difficult thing is to follow them, to let your intuition guide you and to believe that there is something more than what our logical brain tells us. That there are some ways in life that are miraculous, things you can’t explain, things that are bigger than everything you know. And all the knowledge you need is already within you. #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram

2. “Wisp of Smoke”.

View this post on Instagram

"There may be a great fire in our soul, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke" – Vincent Van Gogh …. Wisp of Smoke, 2017, ©Dawid Planeta …. Most people don’t really know anything about you. They know only a small part of who you are – they see only a wisp of smoke as they’re passing by. But even though they don’t know you, it doesn’t stop them from having opinions about you. And what’s worse – it doesn’t stop YOU from believing in everything they say. You let them distract you and draw you away from your fire, from your place of power. Now instead of taking care of the fire – to make it bigger, brighter, more powerful – you engage into meaningless pursuit of things you think you are missing. You leave your fire just because someone told you that you don’t have it. And you believed. You believed because you are afraid he may be right – maybe you don’t have it, maybe it’s not THE fire. Maybe he figured it out and you don’t know anything. Maybe you are lost and he’s not. Maybe it’s too late. Maybe you’ll never find it. All those thoughts appear when you leave your fire. And to find it you must come back to yourself. No one can show you the way – other people can inspire you, they can help you illuminate your path with their own fire, but your path is your own and it’s different from every path that has ever existed. Have courage to stay by your fire. Take care of it and let it shine. #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram

3. “Face of Fear”.

View this post on Instagram

"Face of Fear", Dawid Planeta Today we are going back to the classic – the final version never got a proper presentation in here so give it all the love it deserves! Also, few words about the symbolism of a rhino: "When a Rhino come into our lives, what does it mean it to us? The representation of rhinoceros in animal symbolism often leds to misperception. In defining the symbolism of rhino in our life, learn to look beyond its displayed traits and characters. The guiding principle for depicting its meaning is that “things are actually not what they seem.” Yes, these large creatures are known to be aggressive and maybe feared for but in contrary, they portray passive nature. Look at them closely. They are observed in its preference to solitude, as they bound themselves to graze off vast grasslands solitarily. The rhino is associated with peace, solitude, gentleness, power, and steadiness." . Just like the darkness changes everything around you and makes you afraid of things that you wouldn't even care about during a daytime, the fear has a power to change the way you see your life and everything that happens to you. It can turn your life into a dark place just using your thoughts. But there is something you have to remember – in your world, you are the master. There is no one else controlling your thoughts. Only you. It’s your world. You are creating it, one thought at the time. And everywhere you go, you always have the source of light within you. Just let it shine. . . . . #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram

„The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.” – Fyodor Dostoyevsky „Something to live for”, ©Dawid Planeta, 2019 . This is it. It’s simple. You need something to live for. The difficult part is finding it. But if you keep moving towards things that make you feel more alive, more happy, you are going in the right direction. . #artfair #artcollector #theartshed #artoftheday #artshub #contemporaryart #art #artist #artoftheday #instaart #digitalart #illustration #conceptart #instaart #instaartist #illustratorsoninstagram #creativeeveryday #arteveryday #makearteveryday #instaartoftheday #artworkoftheday #artists #artinspo #artsanity #artforthewin #artlife #originalartwork #artfeed #lifeofanartist #expressiveart

"Know yourself", 2019, Dawid Planeta “Only the unknown frightens men. But once a man has faced the unknown, that terror becomes the known.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry You can’t be afraid of something you know. Do everything you can to find and see what you are so desperately trying to avoid. Imagine that everything you are afraid of actually happens – is it really so terrifying? Why you decide to turn away from yourself and ignore things rather than looking at them and learning from everything that happens to you? 6. “Wisdom”.

7. Ilustração ainda sem nome.

Untitled, 2018, ©Dawid Planeta ‌ Art is something that reflects your inner self and helps you express it in the way you feel it, not the way you think about it. And the better you know your inner self the better you can express it in the outside world. People sometimes ask me what program do I use or what is the process, but no one asks "what did you experience in your life that led you to the place you are right now?", "what is your perception of the world around you, what do you see, what do you feel? ". This is the real question. To create art you don't need technical skills, you need this urge to create, to experience, to learn, to share deep parts of yourself, and if you go deep enough you will reach something that is universal for everyone, no matter where they are from, what language they speak and what they believe. They can learn about themselves by looking at it. The beauty of it is that every lesson will be different yet every lesson will be true. I don't want to tell people what to think, I want to give them something so they could think for themselves. There is a lot more to say about this topic, but for now I think it's long enough. I hope you are well, let me know when you read it all;) #theartshed #artoftheday #artshub #photooftheday #picoftheday #bestoftheday #theuniversalart #minipeople #dawidplaneta #art #artist #jungle #mysterious #vision #lifestyle #nature #vision #quote #mysterious

“Allow the power to flow through you. Don’t try to capture it. You wish only to borrow it.” ― G.G. Collins Trying to capture something will only cause frustration, because you can't HAVE anything. You can borrow things and use them, you can be it the certain space using whatever this space is giving you, but when you start to be afraid of losing it you try to capture it. All your energy goes into something that is impossible to achieve. By accepting that you will never actually have it you can start to appreciate the experience itself. Forget about wanting it or being afraid to lose it. Just feel it now. I made a new version of the picture for printing – I will make a small series of prints, so if you would like to get one and support my art, send me a message! “Once you realize you deserve a bright future, letting go of your dark past is the best choice you will ever make.” ― Roy T. Bennett „Bright Future”, 2017, ©Dawid Planeta I created this picture back in 2017 but I didn’t feel it was complete. I was’t sure why. Recently I came back to it. Apart from small changes in the picture, the thing that made it complete was choosing a different quote. Sometimes you need a while before you can put something into words in a way that is closest to what you feel. To find right way of expressing it. But one is certain – you have to try, because each attempt is a step that brings you closer to your goal. It doesn’t matter if the step is perfect and full of grace or clumsy and slow. What matters is that you are moving. And as long you are moving, you are alive. #instaart #artistoninstagram #instagramartist #illustragram #illustratorsofinstagram #instapainting #artistsofig #artistsofinstagram #instagramart #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily

13. “Sacred Space”.

View this post on Instagram

“Sacred space is not just an external place. It is an internal place as well.” ― Mat Auryn „Sacred Space”, 2020, ©Dawid Planeta Today I was going through some old pictures that I have never finished. I have many of them, waiting patiently for the right time, waiting for the doors of creativity to open and let them in. Sometimes it happens quickly, sometimes it takes years. Sometimes the picture is changing completely after that, sometimes it stays almost the same. I was looking for one particular picture today – a night scene with a big glowing eye looking from between the trees. I didn’t find it, probably it’s gone forever. Some of ideas appeared only in the process, than turning into something different, leaving only a memory. But I found this tree and felt like this is the time to finish it. It wants to be finished now. If you do the right thing in the right moment, it feels effortless, almost too easy. Like it’s happening by itself. That’s how it felt this time. A picture from the past coming back. I always consider the picture ready when I give it a title and quote. It’s like giving it a name. Making it alive and allowing it to go into the world by its own. #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram #creatives #pictureoftheday

14. “The Answer”.

View this post on Instagram

“The Wilderness holds answers to more questions than we have yet learned to ask.” ― Nancy Newhall „The Answer”, 2020, ©Dawid Planeta When you want to make a good decision about anything in your life, you should do it in nature. When you are in the city, you are surrounded on all sides by things that are limited, restrained, finite. Everything around you is named, tamed, described and put into a box, it’s given a specific shape or it happens at specific time. If you are surrounded by limitations, numbers and borders, your mind is adjusting to that environment. That's the nature of the mind, to adapt. Your thinking becomes limited, logical – you don’t look for miracles and shortcuts, you don’t look for unusual connections anymore. But if you go to nature, if you take yourself outside of the box, to a place where you can literally see a big picture, you'll see how your big ideas start to live again. You are tuning into the environment of no limitations, full of life that is changing constantly, full of potential. This is a place where your decisions can really move your life forward. This is a place where you can see more of yourself and the world around you. #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram

15. “The River of Life”.

View this post on Instagram

„God brings men into deep waters not to drown them, but to cleanse them.” – John H Aughey "The River of Life", ©Dawid Planeta, 2019 … When he was old enough, the father said to him: it’s time for you to join me and learn about the river. Tomorrow you’re coming with me, my son. That night the boy was dreaming about something dark, powerful and mysterious. Next morning they were standing by the river, standing still, looking into water. Before we go – said father – you must pray and ask the river to let you in, to guide you, to help you find the way. Ask the river to help you find food and get back safely. But remember – the river can be dangerous, so whatever you think you see, and whatever you think you hear – it’s the river trying to decieve you. Just stay on the boat. This is where you’re safe. As they were paddling up the river, the boy was looking in the water. It was dark and silent. – During the day the river sleeps – said the father – but it’s power is right there, just below the surface. If you look closely you can see moving shapes – those are the spirits of the people who were taken by the river. And be careful – if you look for too long, they can ensnare your soul and make you join them. But the boy kept looking right into the river’s eyes – deep, dark and silent. … Since then they were going on the river many times – sailing up the river, spending some time catching fish and sailing back. Every time the boy was looking into the river’s eyes – and every time the river showed him a little bit more of what’s hidden under the surface – shapes, colors, movement, life. Every time a little bit deeper… #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram

View this post on Instagram

„My Own Enemy”, 2017/18, ©Dawid Planeta „The deeper I go into myself, the more I realize that I am my own enemy.” – Floriano Martins There is no enemy outside of us. Only within. The enemy is our mind, conditioned by the rules of our culture, our society, our country. This mind is constantly telling us who we are, how we should act, what should we do according to those rules so everything that doesn’t fit must be hidden, supressed, buried, killed. This is what we do to ourselves. We are the enemy. But we can also be a savior, the one who will find the parts of our mind that were trapped and set them free. The one who give love to all aspect of our being, dark and bright. The one who will bring the love to every corner of the mind. #art #artist #artistic #artists #arte #dibujo #myart #artwork #illustration #graphicdesign #graphic #monochrome #gallery #artoftheday #creative #art_viral #art_dailydose #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #modernart #artdaily #newart #instaart #artlife #illustrationart #artistoninstagram #illustratorsofinstagram #illustragram
